Nexus (U) Limited was chosen to remodel Centenary Bank’s Mbale branch in Uganda as part of the bank’s commitment to modernizing its facilities and enhancing the customer experience. The project focused on transforming the branch into a modern, functional space that better meets the needs of both customers and staff.

Scope of Remodeling Work

The remodeling of the Centenary Bank Mbale branch involved a complete overhaul of the interior to create a more efficient, customer-friendly banking environment, while ensuring that the space reflected the bank’s values of quality service and professionalism.

1. Interior Design and Layout: Nexus (U) Limited restructured the layout of the branch to optimize space and improve traffic flow. The new design includes dedicated areas for personal banking, corporate services, and staff workstations, ensuring a smoother and more efficient experience for customers.

3. Aluminum and Glass Partitions: To enhance the openness of the space while maintaining privacy where needed, aluminum and glass partitions were used throughout the branch. These partitions allowed natural light to fill the area, creating a brighter and more inviting environment.

4. Electrical and Lighting Upgrades: The electrical system was upgraded to meet the branch’s operational demands, and energy-efficient lighting was installed to enhance the ambiance and reduce energy consumption.

5. HVAC System: A modern HVAC system was installed to ensure that the branch maintains a comfortable temperature year-round, providing a pleasant experience for both staff and customers.

6. Branding and Signage: Nexus (U) Limited updated the branch’s branding and signage to align with Centenary Bank’s modern corporate image. Clear, strategically placed signage throughout the branch helps guide customers efficiently to the services they need.

7. Security Enhancements: The security system was upgraded with advanced technologies, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control features, ensuring the safety of both customers and staff.
